Came here for lunch with some coworkers and had a blast. We got the spring rolls and banh beo for the table and I got the Banh Hoi Thit Nuong for myself.

Never have had banh beo before but that's a great dish to share. Lots of little cups which make it easy for a group of any number. The beef on the banh Hoi was great and really enjoyed the meal.

Place has some TVs and a good beer selection (and root beers) along with a nice patio. Would be a great weekend spot as well and would definitely like to do that. Alas it was a work day so wasn't able to enjoy that part this time

Came with a group of 5 so we got multiple orders of summer rolls, banh beo, and bun bo hue. All great for sharing and amazing taste. Definitely left very full and happy!

Got seated pretty quick, all our food came out in a timely matter, and got consistent refills on water so no complaints on service for our lunch!

Dining room was medium-sized with a fair amount of tables. The have a patio area too so seems safe to bring small to medium sized groups.

Overall: Great spot and would definitely go again whenever I'm in the area!

I absolutely love this place for their spring rolls. In my opinion, it tastes better than the ones at Brodard which is famous in the OC for these types of rolls. I always want to go here and the spring rolls is such a perfect food to not feel tired afterwards.

If I want to study, I want some of these rolls. If I want to do anything productive after eating, this is my go to.

I would definitely recommend trying this place!

Best spring rolls. Interesting take on banh xeo. My only complaint is they don't have your traditional shrimp spring rolls. One day I'll actually break from my summer roll and banh xeo addiction and order something else.

Food (4/5): Very flavorful vermicelli dish! I thought the iced tea was a bit too sweet and not strong enough tea-wise.

Service (4/5): I ran into a weird situation when I ordered #16 (Bún Nem Chua/Sour Pork Vermicelli bowl), received thoughtful advice from the server that this was a dish of acquired taste but I assured her that this is what I wanted, was still served #17 instead, but then asked if they could bring me the meat for #16 once I realized the mix-up and they kindly brought it out towards the end of my meal. Not sure what caused the mix up in the end and was a bit sad that I couldn't enjoy #16 with the whole noodle dish as I had hoped, but I overall appreciated that the servers/cooks were very kind and accommodating despite it all.

Ambiance (4/5): Pretty standard, good for small and large groups.

Parking: Very difficult to find parking in such a busy spot among so many prized restaurants/cafes. We ended up parking in a lot across the street. Just beware busy hours!

This is definitely our go-to spot in SGV. Been here countless times the past few years. This is the newer of the two Summer Rolls restaurants. The main difference I think is that this one serves alcohol.

Anything I've had on the menu has been good. The sour pork spring rolls or lemongrass beef spring rolls are good choices. We really like the crunch of the shrimp egg rolls inside the spring roll. The beef comes with fish sauce on the side, the pork comes with a different sauce.

The vermicelli is also really good with lots of fresh vegetables and pickled carrots. Lemongrass beef is usually my choice of protein. It comes with the crunchy shrimp egg rolls too. Comes with fantastic fish sauce. Same for the broken rice plates as well that comes with egg cake.

If you haven't had the dark chestnut ale (Kuri Kuro), highly recommend you get it. This is the only place I know of that has it and it's a chocolatey nutty flavored beer. Some specialty liquor stores have it, but it's difficult to hunt down. It's nice to wash down the meal with. That or some iced Vietnamese coffee!

The outdoor area allows dogs so we can bring them here. They provided water bowls for them so that was really nice.

Parking can be a bit of a pain when it's really busy, but you should be able to find some underground and on the street if it's packed. But hey is it the 626 experience if there isn't a crazy parking lot? Not the fault of the establishments at all, just something to keep in mind.

This will continue to be one of our spots and am surprised I didn't review it sooner. And there's lots of desserts nearby and other great eats!

This place can get super busy on the weekends. Even after ordering 45 minutes ahead, I had to wait another 15 minutes. But the nem nuong rolls is by
Far the best in so cal.

Literally no pics cuz I ate everything instantly ‍ I don't even live in LA anymore , but I always have to come here. The pork and beef summer rolls are both bangers. The orange sauce that it comes with is something special, might be addicted to it.... 5/5

Banh Beo are the rice cakes and they were alright, nothing special. 3/5

I had the rice dish with pork slices, but literally I tried all the rice dishes and they are all just as good. I think they are definitely better than average, maybe a top 5 of Vietnamese rice dishes that I've had. 4.5/5

Service is great and there's literally never a line!! Food comes out in like 5 mins. Love this spot for casual eats and consistent great food 5/5

I've known about Summer Rolls for a long time but never had it until recently! It's located in a decent sized plaza with a standard parking lot as well as an underground parking garage. The standard parking lot seemed a bit full when my friend and I arrived around 2:30 pm on a Sunday afternoon so we opted for underground parking and took the stairs up to the restaurant.

The restaurant itself is on the smaller side but with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We were seated inside and were immediately given menus and water. My friend and I shared the Bánh Bèo (steamed rice cakes with shrimp powder and croutons fried in shrimp oil) and the Bánh Hoi (rice vermicelli and shrimp egg rolls with pork nem). Both were absolutely delicious! The Bánh Bèo comes in little dipping sauce sized dishes. You pour on fish sauce, add chilis, and then scoop the whole thing out with a spoon to eat. The Bánh Hoi is almost like a deconstructed spring roll and comes with lettuce and a fish sauce based dipping sauce as well. Service was really good and I'll definitely be back to try their other items!
